To be fair, Flew is old and has mostly lost his mind. Interviews have shown that the poor old man isn't aware of what he's agreeing to. It strikes me like this is picking on the weak - using a poor old man who no longer understands the world around him to promote an ideology he would have never agreed to.
This sort of thing is about as un-Christian as I can think of. It's a disgrace to use this man in his moment of weakness in this way. Any Christian who jumps on board ought to be ashamed of herself.
"What has a man from all the toil and striving of heart with which he toils beneath the sun? For all his days are full of sorrow, and his work is a vexation...There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God, for apart from him who can eat or who can have enjoyment?" (Ecclesiastes 2:22-25)
