Politics, Hagar in the Wilderness and the Weblog Awards

The 2006 Weblog Awards

That's what I've been doing :-) But I wanted to let you guys know about the Weblog Awards in case you hadn't heard that they are taking nominations until November 24th. And the best thing of all, you can nominate yourself (I didn't have to, I begged the Reformed Chicks readers to do it for me). They have all kinds of categories (except religion and Christianity) like parenting, conservative, liberal, etc. Go check them out and nominate your favorite blog. I nominated mostly mommy blogs since they don't get the recognition that they deserve.

Now, back to reading about Hagar and how her experience parallels Moses' experience.

I hope the weblog awards arent anything like the the CMA awards were.

I've never heard so much off key singing in my life. It was atrocious.

Pamela, no it didn't! Hey, I was going to put you up for one but I couldn't figure out your category. I think that I'm just going to put you in the Individual Blog category.

Kailani, you are welcome! I didn't have a lot of time when I did the nominations, so I picked the ones I knew were the best of the Mommy blogs.

    I just linked to it.
I wondered why there was no best christian blog
then... it occured to me they would have to have a wiccan blog, a muslim blog, a satanic blog ---and so on.
I would have to be categorized as the best relilgious blog. It could result in a religious war!

Oh! My bad... there already is
