I hate myself for saying this ....

but I really want this blog title. And her reason for choosing it fits me to a tee!

I love that hymn. And every time I open her blog, I start humming. *grin*

Yes, it is my favorite hymn. I'm kicking myself for not thinking hymns when I started this blog. No, I went for the subtle!

Hey, more Reformed sisters. I feel like I'm at summer camp with all my friends! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
We love your seminary's bookstore. We try to go whenever we're home in PA.
What's your degree in and what do you plan on using it for, if I may ask?

I love my seminary bookstore as well! I just picked up Horton's new book and a commentary on John. I only allow myself a visit when I definitely need something, otherwise I would be spending way too much money.

I am getting my Masters of Arts and Religion with a biblical studies emphasis. I have been teaching the Bible for 11 years now and I write all my own study material (questions, lecture notes). I thought that seminary would improve my writing skills and knowledge of God’s word enough to publish. Even if I don’t publish, I have gained so much being here that I’ll be a much better teacher.

Teresa, that picture and her comment sum up all that I've been saying (and with a lot less words) about God's love of the reprobate.

Susan, go look at Teresa's link, maybe a visual aid will help :-O

    Michele,
Sounds great! Who do you teach Bible to?

The women at my church. I led the daytime women's Bible study at my church for 2 1/2 years. This year I had to take a break because of scheduling conflict with seminary. I plan (the Lord willing) to go back in the fall and teach Revelation.

    Wow, Revelation! You're ambitious!
Not be any more nosy, but where do you go to church? If that's too personal for the web, just tell me to go away!

I attend a Presbyterian church. My husband has asked that I not be more specific about our location because of the fact that I have linked to our daughters' blogs (he is really worried about their safety).

Oh, I forgot to mention this is my second time teaching Revelation. Taking a year will be so much easier than the last time I taught it -- as a seven week summer Bible study! That I wrote while I taught it!
